The Circadian Bros, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Ultimate Sun Tracker mobile application (the "App") and our online store (the "Store"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through both the App and the Store, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the App or the Store, you agree to the practices described here.

Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to give you a personalized sun-exposure and vitamin D plan.

Information you provide during setup and use:

  • Your name and age
  • Your wake time and sleep time
  • Your skin type and sun-response details (such as how easily you burn, your sun tolerance, recent sunburn, and how much skin you typically expose)
  • Your sun-exposure habits, preferences, and goals

Information collected as you use the App:

  • Your location (approximate latitude/longitude or city), used to calculate UV levels, sunrise and sunset times, and solar timing for your plan
  • Your sun sessions, vitamin D estimates, streaks, and related activity within the App

Account and subscription information:

  • Account and sign-in information, handled by our authentication provider
  • Subscription and purchase status, handled by our payments providers (we do not receive or store your full payment card details)

We do not collect medical or health-condition information.

Information We Collect Through Our Online Store

If you visit or make a purchase from our online store, we (and our store platform, Shopify) collect:

  • Order information such as the products you buy, your name, shipping and billing address, and email address
  • Payment information, which is processed securely by our payment processors; we do not store your full payment card details
  • Device and browsing information related to your visit to the store (such as pages viewed and general location), and cookies used to operate the store and remember your cart

We use this information to process and fulfill your orders, communicate with you about your purchase, prevent fraud, and operate and improve the store.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Build and adjust your personalized daily sun and vitamin D plan
  • Calculate UV, solar timing, and vitamin D estimates for your location
  • Track your progress, streaks, and history
  • Provide, maintain, and improve the App
  • Manage your account and subscription
  • Send you notifications you've enabled (such as session reminders)

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

How Your Information Is Shared

We share information only with service providers that help us run the App, and only as needed for them to perform their function:

  • Authentication provider (Clerk): manages secure sign-in and stores your login credentials.
  • Payments providers (RevenueCat and Apple): process and verify your subscription. Apple handles the actual payment; we and RevenueCat receive only your subscription status, not your card details.
  • Our own secure servers: store your profile and app data so it's available across your sessions.
  • Store platform (Shopify) and payment/shipping providers: for Store purchases, we use Shopify to host and run our online store and to process orders and payments, and we share order and shipping details with payment processors and shipping carriers as needed to complete and deliver your order.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users or our business.

Data Storage and Security

Your information is stored on secured servers operated by us or our service providers. We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Choices and Rights

  • Access and update: You can view and update your information in the App at any time.
  • Delete your account and data: You can permanently delete your account and associated data directly in the App, under Profile → Delete Account. You may also email us at thecircadianbros@gmail.com to request deletion.
  • Notifications: You can turn notifications on or off in your device settings at any time.
  • Location: You can control location access through your device settings, though some features may not work without it.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information (such as the right to access, correct, or delete it). To exercise any of these, contact us at the email below.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

The App provides general wellness and educational guidance only. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical concerns.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
